Forvela Training is operated by Kolkar Technologies Inc., 148 Albany Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using this site, you agree to these terms.

What this service is

Forvela Training provides a generic WHMIS education course and issues certificates of completion. It covers the general knowledge component of WHMIS: the system itself, hazard classes, labels, safety data sheets, pictograms, signal words, and worker rights and responsibilities.

What this service is not

  • It is not a complete WHMIS compliance solution. Canadian law also requires employers to provide workplace-specific training covering the actual hazardous products, procedures, and emergency plans at their own workplace. Completing this course does not satisfy that requirement.
  • It is not government-accredited certification. No government body in Canada accredits WHMIS training providers. Our certificate is a certificate of completion, verifiable online, and nothing more.
  • It is not legal advice. Employers are responsible for confirming their own obligations under the occupational health and safety laws of their province or territory.

Accounts and honest use

  • You must provide your real name. It appears on your certificate.
  • Quizzes must be completed by the person named on the account. Completing the course for someone else invalidates the certificate.
  • We may revoke certificates obtained dishonestly.

Early access

During early access the course is free. We plan to charge for it later: $12.99 per person individually, or discounted seat packs for employers (10, 25, or 50 seats, priced per seat). Anything you earn during early access stays valid and verifiable after pricing begins.

Liability

The course is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kolkar Technologies Inc. is not liable for losses arising from use of this service, including reliance on it as a substitute for the employer training obligations described above.
